Another Weather Fiasco

Here we are enroute to Kunduz, with a much better forecast than yesterday.  Nothing showing up on the Satellite shots either, so we figured we'd give it a shot.  Some lovely peaks along the way...

But then we get close to Kunduz, and same old story...

I Don't Think We're Getting In - And this with a BETTER forecast than the day before.

So missed we go again, and off to Mazar to finish the day.  I've never seen one of these things in the air before.  They're always parked on the ramp, but away they go.  NATO E-3 Sentry, off to do some "looking around".

Caught This F-16 going underneath us on the way back to Kabul.  Just outside the valley where the city is.

Kabul is getting pretty darn busy!

First day flying with Oliver tomorrow.  It's a long day as well.  Going to a new destination tomorrow so I'll probably have lots of pictures to share.
