Downtown Adventures and new Winter Attire

Another great day in Afghanistan, and new adventures in Downtown Kabul.

We headed down to a place called Chicken Street, which is a local shopping district with small shops etc.

The kids follow you around like seagulls begging for change, along with mothers in Burquas.  It can get quite annoying after a while, but you just have to live with it.

There are some amazing shops there.  For example the textiles shop which makes carpets and other textiles.

Here are some pictures...

And as my parents know, I always wanted one of those large fur hats... So I splurged and bought the fur coat along with it too!  HAHA

My New Winter Attire!   SOOO WARM!

As you've all come to expect.  Pictures from the day!
