Home And Loving It!

Well after a few days of adjustment.  I'm home and loving it...   Glad to be back on Canadian soil.  But, I do miss Afghanistan at the same time.

It was a wonderful experience that I wouldn't trade for anything in the world!

The warm welcome at home made the entire trip worth it.  For the most part the flights were uneventful as well as my foray into Buddha Bar in Dubai for dinner.  I told myself I was going to treat myself to a wonderful dinner in Dubai, and Buddha Bar did not disappoint!

Nestled in Grovesnor House in the Dubai Marina, the view and ambiance were wonderful!  I was quite fortunate to get a table as they are an incredibly popular spot.  If any of you do go to Dubai, I do highly recommend it.  But I also highly recommend making a reservation.

I thought I'd sort of wrap up the blog here with a massive selection of my highlight photos from the trip.

Hope you all enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed taking them!
