Never Flying Economy Again!!!

A very special and HUGE THANK YOU to British Airways for my free upgrades to business class all the way home!

My Footrest In My "Pod"

Got about 6 hours of sleep which is substantially more than I would have had if I was back in "Cattle Class" on the flight from Dubai to London.  The seats are small pod-like spots with a fully reclining chair, and I mean FULLY RECLINING (Horizontal).  When you flip down the foot rest, it also converts to a bed.  There's lumbar support, neck support, you name it.

"Champagne Before Takeoff, Sir?"  ABSOLUTELY!

Due to the fact that it was a red-eye flight.  The meal in the evening was a light snack:

Arabic meze plate with baba ghanoush, tabbouleh,

cheese-stuffed piquillo pepper and green lentil salad.

 

Individual selection of sandwiches featuring:

beef pastrami with horseradish, and cream cheese with chives.

 

A selection of fresh fruit, as well as warm chocolate chip cookies is also available!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!   HAHA!

As I said, I had a wonderful sleep, and feel very refreshed.

"Hot Towel Before Landing, Sir?"   YOU BET YOUR SWEET BUTT!  I thought that was the end of my service, so I might as well get the most of it.

 

 

Arriving at Heathrow, I had a pass for the "Arrivals Lounge" which I used to try to sweet-talk my way into the lounges here for passengers.  Turns out, no sweet talking necessary.

 

"You've been upgraded to Business Class to Calgary as well, sir!  Today must be your lucky day!"

 

"I LOVE BRITISH AIRWAYS!" I said to her.

 

"Well you'll love us more sir, head over there to the spa and book your complimentary shower and massage."

 

(PS.  AIR CANADA -  TAKE A LESSON FROM ALL OF THIS!!!)

 

The service has been truly wonderful, and it will be a very easy 9 hour layover here in London...
