Well that's a wrap for day 2 of flight operations on my rotation here...
Pretty easy day, that took us to Bamiyan, Chagcharan, and Herat.
Tomorrow we fly to a new destination for me so I shall be sure to upload some pictures. I haven't really been doing all that much photo and video so far, because I'm just trying to get back in the swing of things.
Now that I'm back to being comfortable in the environment, the videos and pictures will start to come in.
Not much is going on around here. We met with some others in the compound tonight to enjoy an Iftar BBQ.
During the Holy Month of Ramadan, Iftar is the meal that breaks the fasting at sunset. We had soup, and wraps, and BBQ chicken, Salad, Mango Salsa, and many other things. It was DELICIOUS!
The folks that prepared it for us live in the Baron as well, but they have basically a 1 Bedroom Apartment with Kitchens and the whole works.
