Well it's official... I have checked in for my flight to London tonight, and then onwards to Dubai tomorrow.
Probably a little early to arrive at the airport for a 9:35 flight. But this gives me time to eat dinner and update my little corner of the internet here.
My "Pre-Departure Crew Briefing" is now complete as well. Basically to sum it up in a few words, "Don't be an idiot..." No problem!!!
It was actually much less a briefing than a Q & A to finalize any last minute snafus.
Speaking of snafu's. Checking to make sure I had everything before I left the house... OK, let's see, Passport? Check... Pilot License? Check... Headset? Check... Immunization Records? Not with the passport... Not With the pilot licence... Uh oh... Glad I checked now with some time.
A quick call to the travel clinic and she found my record as it fell out of my chart... Well isn't that just an awesome place for that to be?!?!?! Copy scanned and emailed... Crisis Averted!
Anyways, my dinner has just been set down in front of me... We shall continue soon!
