Let's start out by telling you the routing of my flight...
We departed Runway 16 in Calgary pretty well on time. Our routing took us directly over Prince Albert SK, then onto The Pas, MB. Followed by Norway House, we finally crossed the Hudson Bay Coast somewhere near Fort Severn, ON.
Continuing on, we passed over the Belcher Islands, and across Northern Quebec and Labrador. Our routing took us just south of the tip of Greenland, to cross the coast of Ireland just north of Shannon.
The final part of the first leg of my journey had us crossing the Celtic Sea somewhere near Bristol and onto London. We made excellent time and were deplaning 15 minutes earlier than scheduled.
There was hot meal service as you can see below here...
Supper Time!!!
The meal was a chicken breast with creamy Caesar sauce, rice pilaf, and broccoli with chicken, a side salad, and cheese cake for dessert.
The meal was quite delicious as far as airline food goes! Haha!
The flight also had an excellent selection of new movie releases, and a couple of seasons of some TV shows. Quite a large music collection as well.
There was also the "Your Journey" page on the entertainment system (My Journey? If only they knew where my journey was going to take me).
