The first crew change is happening tomorrow. Russ, our engineer leaves tomorrow and Mike takes over. Luckily it's a short day of flying so he shouldn't have too much to do.
For those of you reading this who are fans of aviation, Dec 4 2013 was a big day...
Emirates Airlines Inaugural Flight To Kabul - 04 Dec 2013
They've been here at least 2 days in a row now, the 4th and the 5th, I haven't been able to check the "frequency" of the flights. But, it's a massive airplane, an A340-500.
Today we went to the Serena Hotel again for "Friday Brunch". It was delicious, and always a wonderful time. Unfortunately pictures aren't really an option there because of very tight security. But it's about the highest-end hotel in Kabul. Foreign Diplomats stay there on a Regular Basis. The brunch has wonderful breads, and fresh juices, and some nice hot dishes. Tempura as well!
In continuing with tradition, here are some photos from our last couple of days.
