Well two of our crew have changed. The base manager, for the second time. Also, the FO for the second time.
Alas, I am still here... However only for the next week! I'm outa here next Tuesday! Unless that volcano in Iceland decides to do something nasty. We had reports of an Earthquake here in Kabul, so there's all kinds of seismic activity going on.
Flew to Faizabad for the first time this tour, after the extensive runway repairs. All in all they did a decent enough job. Not like back home, but not horrible either.
Here's some pictures from the last few days... Enjoy!
A Bamyan Panorama
The WFP Logo on our Nose
The WFP Tail next to the new Bamyan Terminal (Opening Soon)
The above photos were on the way to Faizabad. Reminded me of why I love flying in this country! Haven't seen those hills in a long time.
Some livestock grazing the hillsides in Faizabad
Notice those animals at the top of the hill.
